 I live in Moorestown N.J. (the CBG capital of N.J.) with my wife & two big dogs (the dogs love my songs)
My primary musical influences are Alan Hull (Lindisfarne), Dave Alvin, Guy Clark & The Holy Modal Rounders.
After surviving a twenty year drinking binge, I felt the need for a new hobby. I started to play my fathers old Banjo mandolin about 4 years ago. I graduated to tenor guitar & then began writing songs and building Cigar Box Guitars. Next thing I know... I'm onstage in Carrollton K.Y.! I'm not the beast guitar player in the world but I write and sing my own songs and I'm having fun. I don't play other peoples songs... What's the point?" Songs are very personal things. I like to make 'em sad & funny at the same time. I play with my neighbors in "Blue Neighborhood" we're not as much as a band as a collective of 3 separate voices. I love theses guys... music is fun again. Every Cigar Box is full of dreams.
