Thisguitar lesson vid shows you how to play My Name is Jonas (particularly the intro) by one of Erich’s all-time favorite bands, WEEZER! It shows you the chords, strumming technique and style. Go to www.yourguitarsage.com to find out how to get a chart to this song and 100s of other songs, as well as info about my ebooks and online instructional resources about charts, chords, strumming and the techniques that I use here in my videos! Since I’m so busy making new video tutorial lessons all the time and teaching guitar, I probably won’t have time to answer individual questions regarding guitar. My other videos cover beginner, advanced and intermediate levels. I teach rock, blues, country and just about any other style on electric or acoustic. If you can’t find your answer from the resources at the website above, keep digging into my vids, and I’m sure you will find your answer. Keep practicing!!! Just a piezo pickup and a volume knob and jack, pretty simple, if I crank it all the way, it kind of sounds like it has a distortion pedal on it. LOL Still cant get the tuning I want, switched to lighter weight strings, but still to much for my neck to handle. When I try to tune it up to the higher Open G, it wont hold tune cause the neck bows. I suppose I could reinforce the neck, but maybe on my next build, I think I am about done with this one. Currently it is tuned G#, D#, G# It was my first CBG, I will know what to do different on the next one.
